Anak-Anak Berakhlak Islam (AKHI Club)



  • Introduction:
AKHI Club is a short form for Anak-Anak Berakhlak Islam Club

that conducted program with primary school children raging from

standard 4 to standard 6. It is one of the club under the IIUM Community

service unit.

The main objective of the establishment of this club is to assist those

school children who are from low income family so that they would be

able to success in their study and also to strengthen the bonds between

IIUM students and the local community.

The main focus of this club is to produce excellent Islamic generation

whom that will lead the ummah to the success in the future.

There are two schools involve with AKHI Club which are Sek. Keb. Setapak Indah and Sek. Keb.

Bandar Baru Sentul.


  • Objectives of AKHI Club

1) to teach the participants to face their problems in a positive manner.

2) to produce an individual who is independent and can bring the benefit to the nation.

3) to develop critical thinking among the participants in solving any problem occurred.

4) to encourage them to apply the knowledge that they have learned for the benefit of other people.


  • Expected outcome

Through the mentoring program, it is expected that the participants would possess various potential

skills and also developed self confident and determination. Moreover, this will help to improve the

participants performance in terms of academics and sahsiah (moral conduct).


  • Modus Operandi

AKHI is a mentoring base club. The nature program of AKHI involve the interaction between

mentors and mentees. The mentoring will focus on two aspects namely:

a) Academic learning

b) Sahsiah (moral or virtues)
